Has anyone else noticed more dodgy behaviour around the station car park and along High Road near the Wetherspoons in the evenings? A neighbour on Goldings Hill said there’s been a couple of car break-ins this week, and I’ve seen lads trying door handles by the little parade of shops by Debden Lane. Worth keeping valuables out of sight and maybe sticking to the lit route past Epping Forest (Baldwins Hill side) if you’re walking home — would be good to hear if others have had issues or if the police have been about.
Not had any trouble myself, but I did see a couple of blokes lingering by the Wetherspoons end of High Road last night and it felt a bit off. Might be worth letting the station or council know if it’s happening around the car park.
Yeah I’ve noticed it too around the station car park by Debden Lane, especially after dark near the little parade of shops. Did your neighbour on Goldings Hill report the break-ins or was it just word of mouth?
I’m on Baldwins Hill and the lit route by the forest has been fine for me, but the station car park’s definitely felt sketchy lately. Was this closer to the Wetherspoons end or more by the Debden Lane parade?
