Senior Lifeguard – Places Leisure (Ongar, Essex)

Key Responsibilities
- Lead lifeguard cover on poolside, ensuring excellent supervision and a safe environment at all times
- Respond confidently to incidents, delivering first aid and emergency procedures in line with NPLQ standards
- Support day-to-day pool operations including opening/closing checks, water quality monitoring and risk assessments
- Coach and motivate lifeguard teams, promoting high standards of customer service and professionalism
- Work with duty management to handle enquiries, resolve issues and ensure smooth session delivery

What You'll Need
- Current NPLQ qualification (or equivalent) and proven experience as a lifeguard
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and support a team on shift
- Excellent communication, calm decision-making and a genuine focus on customer care
- Knowledge of health & safety, safeguarding and pool plant/water testing (desirable)
