Door Canvasser

Join First Home Improvement as a Door Canvasser in Southend-on-Sea and help local homeowners make their properties warmer, greener and more cost-effective. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a stable salary from £24,000 p/a with the chance to build valuable experience in the home improvement and energy-efficiency sector across Essex.

Key Responsibilities
- Canvass local neighbourhoods to introduce our home improvement and energy-saving solutions
- Engage homeowners in friendly, professional conversations and identify interest or suitability
- Book qualified appointments for the sales/advisor team and accurately record key details
- Represent the brand positively at the door, following company guidelines and compliance standards
- Work Monday to Friday, meeting activity targets and contributing to team performance

What You’ll Need
- Confident communication skills and a polite, approachable manner
- Resilience and motivation to work outdoors and speak with new people daily
- Strong timekeeping and reliability for a permanent Monday–Friday schedule
- Desirable: experience in door-to-door canvassing, lead generation, field sales or home improvements
